Our main base is Glenfinnan, which lies at the head of the loch, and is famous for the being the gathering place of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites in 1745. It is also the place of the famous railway viaduct, which opened in 1901 and has featured in the Harry Potter films. Glenfinnan also boasts some wonderful venues, including the beautiful Church of St Mary and St Finnan.
