Children’s Workshops

Each year, the Festival holds a variety of events designed for families and young people. From Guided Walks and Exploring Nature Sessions, to interactive childrens music workshops led by some of the country’s top music educators, there’s guaranteed fun for all the family during the Festival.

Live Music Now Scotland

For some years now, the festival has been enjoying a unique and important partnership with the organisation Live Music Now Scotland, first set up by Yehudi Menuhin in 1978. The partnership brings some of Scotland’s most up-and-coming musicians into local primary schools and residential care homes, allowing our rural communities access to live music in their own environment. In addition to this, we host them for a special late-night concert which is always a highlight of the Festival.
